Grafoe is intended to support learning, editing, comprehension, and revision. It should not be used to bypass your institution’s academic integrity policies or represent unreviewed AI output as your independent work.

Always follow the rules of your school, course, publisher, employer, or examination body regarding AI assistance, originality checks, paraphrasing, and citation requirements.

If your institution requires disclosure of AI assistance, you should document how Grafoe was used. That may include noting whether you used it for brainstorming, editing, summarizing, language support, or citation formatting.

Grafoe tools do not replace your duty to cite sources correctly, verify claims, and ensure the final submission reflects permitted use.

Authenticity and plagiarism results are guidance tools, not definitive academic rulings. Scores should be interpreted carefully and used as part of a broader review process.

You remain responsible for understanding what originality, authorship, and source acknowledgement require in your context.

Using Grafoe to fabricate sources, impersonate authorship, conceal misconduct, or knowingly submit disallowed AI-generated content may violate this policy and your institution’s rules.

We reserve the right to restrict access where the service is used in clearly deceptive or abusive ways.
