Terms of Service

Grafoe provides writing assistance, authenticity review, originality checking, citation support, and related account features for lawful personal, academic, and professional use.

You must use the service responsibly and in compliance with applicable law, institutional rules, and these terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

We may suspend or restrict access if we detect abuse, fraud, security risks, unpaid charges, or violations of these terms.

All plans require a subscription to access the platform. The entry plan is Proof at $7/month.

Grafoe offers three paid plans:

Proof: $7/month or $70/year — all writing tools, 1,500 words per request, Basic AI detection.

Studio: $14/month or $140/year — everything in Proof plus Advanced detection, plagiarism checker, Citation Generator.

Pro: $24/month or $240/year — everything in Studio plus export, audio dictation, highest detection allowances.

Annual plans are billed as a single payment. Annual subscribers save the equivalent of 2 months compared to monthly billing.

Eligible first-time subscribers receive one 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to activate the trial. Unless cancelled before the displayed trial end date, the selected monthly or annual subscription price is charged automatically when the trial ends.

Grafoe sends a reminder email approximately 3 days before an eligible trial ends. You remain responsible for cancelling before the trial end date if you do not want to continue.

Unless stated otherwise, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or where Grafoe explicitly agrees to a refund.

First-time subscribers may cancel during the 7-day free trial before a subscription charge is made.

Top-up check packs are non-refundable once purchased. Annual plan renewal refunds are available within 14 days where this policy applies. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights required by law.

Detection is measured in words scanned per month. Allowances reset on your billing anniversary date. Unused allowance does not roll over.

Top-up packs are available for additional detection and never expire.

Grafoe relies on third-party models and services. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for your use case. You should review all results before relying on them.

Authenticity, plagiarism, and citation outputs are informational tools and do not constitute legal, academic, or professional certification.

You may stop using Grafoe at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, create risk for other users, or misuse the platform materially.

Upon termination, certain data may remain in backups, logs, or records for legal, fraud prevention, billing, and operational reasons for a limited period.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grafoe is provided on an as-available basis without warranties of uninterrupted service, perfect accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid to Grafoe in the period directly preceding the claim, except where law does not permit such limitation.
